Trial Classes
Welcome to the Joffrey Academy of Dance! Trial classes are offered with our world-class faculty for all new students. Please see below for more information.
How to Schedule a Trial Class:
To schedule a trial class, please reach out to Reception at [email protected] noting your dancer's name, age and date of birth, number of years in dance, and specific interests.
Please note that trial classes must be scheduled in advance. The Joffrey Academy of Dance does not permit walk-in trial classes.
Who Needs to Schedule a Trial Class?
New students ages 10+ are required to take a trial class prior to registering to receive a class placement. All students will receive placement into one of the Academy's exceptional programs. Families will be notified of placement and next steps within one week of the trial.
New students under the age of 10 are welcome to take a trial class if desired. Please note that students under the age of 10 will be placed into class level based on age regardless of trial class participation. Age-based class levels can be found in our Children's Division.
