Community Engagement Associate

The Joffrey Ballet seeks a full-time Community Engagement Associate to be a core member of our Community Engagement (CE) team to provide support related to communications and administration. The CE Associate teaches in the Extensions Program and develops curriculum to uphold the Joffrey’s artistic vision and provide an inclusive classroom experience for students. This position attends professional development meetings and workshops and supports families with Spanish language translation and communication. The CE Associate also plays a critical role in the success of the annual Nutcracker Student Matinee series.

Head of Studio Company and Trainee Program

The Joffrey Academy of Dance, Official School of The Joffrey Ballet seeks a full-time Head of Studio Company and Trainee Program to work closely with the The Mary B. Galvin Artistic Director to maintain the highest standards of artistic excellence and educational programming for The Joffrey Ballet. The Head of Studio Company and Trainee Program works closely with Abbott Academy Director to build and create programming and works on developing and maintaining the syllabus and curriculum with the The Mary B. Galvin Artistic Director. This position is responsible for the training, mentoring, and development of the Trainees and Studio Company in class, rehearsals, and performances.

Senior Staff Accountant

The Joffrey Ballet seeks a full-time Senior Staff Accountant to be a key member of the finance team. The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for treasury management, month-end close, postings to general ledger, inputting monthly journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, miscellaneous financial reports, and providing back-up for other functions within the Finance Department. This position works closely with and supports other departments within the organization.

Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator

The Joffrey Ballet seeks a full-time Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator to be a key member of the finance team. The Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for processing union and non-union payroll, generating and submitting related payroll, tax and benefit reports, assisting the Director of Human Resources, processes accounts payable, maintaining vendor files, and coordinating calendar year-end tax forms. This role interacts with every department within the organization and provides superb customer service to all employees and vendors.

Company Manager

The Joffrey Ballet seeks a full-time Company Manager to work in close collaboration with the General Manager to be responsible for the administrative and logistical operations related to the employment of Joffrey dancers, guest artists, touring, and the coordination of the efforts of the Artistic and Production departments.

Company Pianist

The Joffrey Ballet seeks a full-time Company Pianist at the highest level.  Duties include playing daily classes that thoroughly engage and inspire a professional company; preparing and rehearsing diverse repertoire in collaboration with dancers, choreographers, rehearsal directors and conductors; performing in the orchestra pit when needed; and other duties as assigned.  Emphasis is placed on piano technique, a flexible, collaborative spirit, tempo memory, an adequate understanding of ballet technique, and the ability to perform with a world-class orchestra.

Patron Services Associates

The Joffrey Ballet is seeking part-time Patron Services Associates to be responsible for handling all customer service and duties that relate to the Joffrey’s subscribers and box office. This position works closely with the other members of the marketing department.
