Assistant Director of Grants and Partnerships
The Joffrey Ballet is looking for an Assistant Director of Grants and Partnerships to join our development team. The Assistant Director of Grants and Partnerships is responsible for raising funds with a focus on corporate, foundation, and government funders and prospects. The Assistant Director of Grants and Partnerships manages the process from draft to submission for proposals, grants, reports and stewardship, while meeting all deadlines. The Assistant Director of Grants and Partnerships manages a portfolio of approximately 75 organizations and works closely with the development team, senior leadership, Board Directors, and executives to effectively communicate, build relationships, and solicit support for the Joffrey.

Company Pianist
The Joffrey Ballet seeks a full-time Company Pianist at the highest level. Duties include playing daily classes that thoroughly engage and inspire a professional company; preparing and rehearsing diverse repertoire in collaboration with dancers, choreographers, rehearsal directors and conductors; performing in the orchestra pit when needed; and other duties as assigned. Emphasis is placed on piano technique, a flexible, collaborative spirit, tempo memory, an adequate understanding of ballet technique, and the ability to perform with a world-class orchestra.

Contracted Positions
Academy Summer Chaperones
Chaperones are primarily responsible for supervising young dance students ages 9–21+ who are participating in Joffrey Academy summer intensive programs and living in the housing facilities throughout the duration of the program. Chaperones work closely with the Head Chaperone, the Abbott Academy Director, and the Joffrey Academy administrative staff.
