Academy Programs
Classes at the Joffrey Academy are available for adults and children alike, offering world-class training for students of all ages, levels, and abilities.
Professional Training programs include the Joffrey Studio Company, Ballet Trainee Program, Contemporary Ballet Trainee Program, and Joffrey Conservatory, which are full-time training programs and take place during the academic year.
Our Pre-Professional, Dance Lab, Children's, Adult Open, and Adaptive Programs are designed to accommodate the academic and working schedules of our students and make up our Joffrey for All programming.

Children's Division
The Children’s Division builds a strong dance foundation by focusing on correct posture, placement, discipline, coordination, strength, flexibility, and musicality.
Dance Lab Program
The Joffrey Academy’s Dance Lab Program emphasizes high-quality training and a variety of disciplines for students of all levels.
Pre-Professional Division
The Pre-Professional Division at the Joffrey Academy of Dance is designed to meet the highest artistic standards, training dancers to develop a strong foundation in classical ballet.
Adaptive Programs
The Joffrey Academy of Dance's Adaptive Dance programs offer the opportunity for students with diverse movement abilities to learn and enjoy the elements of dance.
Conservatory
The Joffrey Conservatory Program is a full-time training program that lays the foundation for a successful career in dance.
Ballet Trainee Program
The Joffrey Academy Ballet Trainee Program is a full-time, one-to-two-year program for students preparing for a professional dance career.
Contemporary Ballet Trainee Program
The Joffrey Academy Contemporary Ballet Training Program is a full-time, one-to-two-year program for students preparing for a career in concert dance.
Studio Company
The Joffrey Studio Company consists of dancers who show exceptional promise and a desire to join the Joffrey or another organization’s main company.
Adult Open Division
The Adult Open Division is designed for adult dancers of all abilities, whether a student has years of dance experience or wants to learn dance for the first time.
Master Class Series
The Master Class Series provides the opportunity for Academy students to work with members of The Joffrey Ballet. Led by featured Joffrey Company Artists, each week offers a distinctive experience with rotating teachers and content, making no two classes the same.
Summer Programs
Summer programs include our annual Summer Intensive and Summer Camps and Workshops.

Founded in 2010, the Joffrey Academy of Dance, Official School of The Joffrey Ballet, provides students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds with a world-class education, built on a foundation of classical ballet.
