Biography

Valentino Moneglia Zamora joined The Joffrey Ballet in 2018.

Mr. Moneglia was born in Murcia, Spain where he trained at The Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de Murcia and Robles Ballet School under José Antonio Robles and Alberto Muñoz. 

While in Spain, Moneglia danced with the Compañia Nacional de Danza under the directorship of José Carlos Martínez. In 2016, he joined the Joffrey Ballet Studio Company where he performed many works both with the Studio Company and the Company.

While in the Company, Moneglia has performed in numerous works. Some featured roles include Gerard Arpino’s Suite Saint-Saëns Adagio pas de deux, the role of Jupiter in Annabelle López Ochoa’s Platée, the Impresario in Christopher Wheeldon’s The Nutcracker, the role of Alexei Karenin in Yuri Possokhov’s Anna Karenina, and The Sofa by Itzik Galili.
