The Joffrey Ballet seeks applications to audition for Christopher Wheeldon's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland at the Lyric Opera House

Terms of Employment

The Company Artists of The Joffrey Ballet are represented by the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA). Seasonal contracts for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland are paid positions governed by AGMA Per Performance Agreements. Employment is subject to the regulations in the collective bargaining agreement between The Joffrey Ballet and AGMA.

Audition Requirements

Dancers of all genders with professional ballet experience. Dancers must be based in the United States.

In-person auditions are by invitation only. Not all applicants will be invited to audition.

2:00 PM - 6:30 PM

The Joffrey Ballet will notify you of your casting status.

Rehearsal and Performance Schedule

All dancers must be available for all rehearsals and performances.

Rehearsals take place Monday, April 14 - May 30 from 11:30 AM - 6:30 PM on weekdays.
Dancers must be available on Saturday, May 31 for on-stage rehearsal.
Technical Rehearsals will take place from Tuesday, June 3 - Thursday, June 5
