Amy Giancarlo

Before joining the Grainger Academy, Amy taught at the Royal Ballet School on both the Associate and Primary Steps Programs. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dance and later completed the Diploma of Dance Teaching at The Royal Ballet School. Amy also serves as a Trustee of the RAD, elected by teaching members worldwide, and is a certified STOTT Pilates instructor.

Amy brings a wealth of teaching experience from leading organizations in the UK, including Rambert, Central School of Ballet, Trinity Laban, Tring Park, the Royal Opera House, and BalletBoyz. She also led the Dance Department at Thomas’s London Day Schools, best known as the former school of Prince George and Princess Charlotte. In addition to her work with young dancers, Amy has mentored trainee teachers at both the RAD and the Royal Ballet School.
