Sponsor A Scholarship
With the help of generous donors like you, the Joffrey provides over $500,000 in scholarships and tuition waivers annually to students of the Joffrey Academy of Dance, Official School of The Joffrey Ballet. Our Academy Scholarship program ensures that dedicated students have access to world-class training and exceptional performance opportunities at Joffrey, eliminating financial barriers on their paths to becoming professional dancers.
Scholarship gifts not only invest in the lifelong talents of gifted dancers, but they are also an investment in the Joffrey – Chicago’s preeminent dance company. Today, one-third of Joffrey’s Company Artists have previously trained with the Academy.

Scholarship Testimonials
Koa Chun
“Being part of the Joffrey Ballet Academy this year has been an honor and a life changing experience. I have learned so much from the faculty and my peers and even got to dance with professional Joffrey artists in mainstage productions. Without my scholarship this would not have been possible, and I am tremendously grateful.” (2022–2023 Ballet Trainee and Scholarship Recipient)
Isadora Bless
“It feels wonderful being supported by the Joffrey Academy Scholarship Fund. The Studio Company training program continuously makes my artistic and athletic ambitions possible and achievable.” (2022–2023 Studio Company member and Scholarship Recipient)
