The Joffrey Ballet Welcomes Barbara E. Reed to Board of Directors
CHICAGO (May 8, 2024) – Anne L. Kaplan, Joffrey Board Chair, and Greg Cameron, President and CEO of The Joffrey Ballet, are pleased to announce the appointment of Barbara E. Reed to the Joffrey Board of Directors, effective immediately, for the 2024–2027 term.

Barbara E. Reed is the Chief Financial Officer of Wealth Management at Northern Trust. She previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer of Wealth Management’s East Region, and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Commercial Bankshares, Inc. in Miami, Florida. Barbara earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida and an MBA from Florida International University’s College of Business. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
