The evening began with welcome remarks in the Joffrey’s Gerald Arpino Black Box Theatre, followed by performance excerpts of the Joffrey’s upcoming fall program, Home: a Celebration, October 13–24 at Lyric Oper House.

The evening continued with a panel discussion between Joffrey leadership and members of the artistic team, including The Mary B. Galvin Artistic Director Ashley Wheater MBE, Joffrey President and CEO Greg Cameron, Rehearsal Directors Suzanne Lopez and Nicolas Blanc, Joffrey Artists and choreographer Yoshihisa Arai, and special guest Anthony Freud, General Director and President and CEO of Lyric Opera of Chicago.

After the panel, guests enjoyed a reception and congratulatory toast to the upcoming 2021–2022 season, which also marks the Joffrey’s inaugural year as resident dance company of Lyric Opera House.
