The Joffrey Academy of Dance.

Dear friends,

This has been a season unlike any other.

The obstacles have been profound, but I am proud. Proud of our students and faculty for enduring an unprecedented switch to virtual learning. Proud of their support for each other during a challenging time. Proud that the Joffrey Academy continues to educate, inspire, and guide the next generation of artists.

In short, our work at the Joffrey Academy continues.

Since the arrival of COVID-19 last March, we have made every effort to ensure a safe, uninterrupted learning environment for our students. Virtual programs are moving forward with ease. We have coordinated with the city and state to provide limited in-person classes at Joffrey Tower under the most updated safety guidelines.

We must remain nimble and diligent. The nature of the pandemic forces us to be fluid. I encourage you to visit our Academy program pages for the latest news and updates. Our staff will also communicate regularly via email, and we also encourage you to reach out with questions, concerns, and feedback.

There is reason to be optimistic about the future, and I am hopeful that life will return to normal sometime soon. We know that the Joffrey Academy is much more than a place to learn and grow—it is a community.

Rest assured that we will keep it that way.

Kind regards,

Raymond Rodriguez
