Sergei Osminkin

Sergei Osminkin was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. He started dancing in early childhood and at the age of 10 began his education at the Vaganova Ballet Academy. During his years in the Academy, he studied with such respected teachers as Olga Vasilieva, Mansur Enikeev, Ilya Novoseltsev, and Nikolai Tsiskaridze, and started performing at the Mariinsky and Mikhailovsky theatres.

At the age of 18, Osminkin joined the Mariinsky Theatre. Since then and until 2022 he performed numerous roles under the guidance of Sergei Vikuloy (National Artist of the USSR, a partner of Natalia Makarova). He went on tours to Japan, China, USA, Hungary, Italy, Germany, and South Korea as part of the theater troupe.
