Jacqueline Farina started her classical ballet training in Mexico City, Mexico. She studied the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) method with Andrea de Andraca presenting all the exam levels including Solo Seal. She then pursued her studies in London with Andrew Hardy and Maria Fay. Some of the companies she has performed with are: Theater of Hagen in Germany, Compañía Nacional de Danza Clásica de Mexico (which at the time was sponsored by the Ballet Nacional de Cuba) and Rhythme et Structure in Paris, France. In Chicago she performed with Venetia Stifler and Concert Dance Inc., as well as with Soul & Duende Spanish American Dance Theater.
Jacqueline is a Cecchetti DFCCA Diploma Certified Teacher with the Cecchetti Council of America. She teaches Ballet and Character Dance in several studios in the Chicago area including Northwest Ballet Academy. She has also taught master classes for the Midwest Committee of the Cecchetti Council of America. Since 2017 Jacqueline has had the joy of teaching Character Dance for the Joffrey Academy Summer Intensives. She is very excited to be joining the Joffrey Academy of Dance this Fall Season.
