Caitlin Meighan



Caitlin Meighan joined The Joffrey Ballet in 2008 after two years as an Arpino Apprentice.

Prior to joining The Joffrey Ballet, she spent two years training at the Ballet School of Stamford, two years at the National Ballet School of Canada, and four years training with former American Ballet Theatre soloist Christina Fagundes. Her summer intensives included Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre New York, Studio Maestro, and in 2006, she performed at The Banff Festival of the Arts. She has performed lead roles in Paquita and Rudy Van Danzing's Four Last Songs, as well as roles in Serenade, La Sylphide and Chopiniana.

Since joining The Joffrey Ballet, Ms. Meighan was in the original cast of Bells, Incantations, Crossing Ashland, and Woven Dreams. She has also performed in several classic ballets with leading roles as Little Swans in Swan Lake, Friends in Don Quixote, Green Girl in Confetti, and roles in Allegro Brillante, Interplay, The Concert, Reflections, Lilac Garden, La Bayadère, Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, Green Table, Merry Widow, Sacre De Printemps, Stravinsky Violin Concerto, Cinderella, Othello, Cloven Kingdom, Le Noces, Kettentanz, Giselle, and Les Presage. Ms. Meighan’s contemporary works include roles in Tulle, Maninyas, Episode 31, Son of a Chamber Symphony, Age of Innocence, Pretty BALLET, Crossed, Mobile, Carousel, Offenbach in the Underworld, and Waterbaby Bagatelles.
