Brandon DiCriscio



Brandon DiCriscio of Wilmington, DE received his initial training from Anne Marie and Sonny Leo. He then went on to pursue a B.A. in Dance at Point Park University.  After studying at Point Park he moved to Chicago to perform with River North Dance Chicago from 2007-2011. After his time at River North he apprenticed with Luna Negra Dance Theater.  Brandon has had the pleasure of working with Robert Battle, Sidra Bell, Frank Chaves, Ron De Jesus, Shannon Gillen, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Lauri Stallings, Doug Varone, Edgar Zendejas, and Sherry Zunker.  In 2011, he won the Dance Chance Redux choreography competition sponsored by DanceWorks Chicago and the Ruth Page Center for the Arts. Brandon has set choreography on Nomi Dance Company, DanceWorks Chicago, Inaside Chicago Dance, LEVELdance, and The Big Muddy Dance Company. Currently Brandon works as Artistic Associate and Rehearsal Director for LEVELdance, as well as faculty at The Chicago High School for the Arts.

Joffrey Academy of Dance, Official School of The Joffrey Ballet, is the only training program owned, operated or endorsed by The Joffrey Ballet. The Joffrey Ballet is not affiliated with any other dance training or school program, including the Joffrey Ballet School in New York. The Joffrey Academy, located in the Exelon Education Center at Joffrey Tower in Chicago, Illinois is the only school that follows the organizational mission, training syllabi, and artistic vision of The Joffrey Ballet.
