Parents' Association

The Joffrey Academy Parents’ Association is a great way for Academy families, students and staff to interact with each other and learn more about different aspects of the dance world. With the intent of facilitating communication and exchange of ideas, this group fosters community among students, parents and the staff and faculty of The Joffrey Academy by encouraging communication and providing opportunities for engagement. All families enrolled in the Academy are a part of the Parents’ Association. We encourage our families to serve as ambassadors for The Joffrey Ballet and the Joffrey Academy by sharing enthusiasm for the organization and its programs with the broader community.

PURPOSE AND VISION

The Joffrey Academy Parents’ Association aims to create a more meaningful connection to The Joffrey Ballet by implementing events and activities that energize and educate the Joffrey Academy community while enhancing the student and family experience. The Parents’ Association is focused on supporting the mission and goals of The Joffrey Ballet while developing a sense of community.

Get Involved

Get Involved

All families of Joffrey Academy of Dance are members of the Parents’ Association, and are invited to get more involved in their child’s dance education. By putting together the Inside the Academy Series, Academy student training is supplemented by informative sessions covering a range of topics from knowledgeable industry insiders. The Parents’ Association also organizes special activities such as master classes and a charity drive.

Thank you to our Parents' Association Ambassadors for their time and effort in making the Association such a success!
